Neat day at the track, got to see a lot of old bud's, but got kinda involved in helping Duffy and didn't get to do a whole lot of watching being parked out in the west 40.

His racing day ****ed, not due to his fault, just gremlins. Data logger wouldn't work, neither the FAST or Accell worked, likely something in the harness. Not sure if that caused the other problem, launching so fat it wouldn't clear out, but with no data, he wasn't sure what was going on. Made 3 p***es, 2 in qualifying (qualified last i think? 5.90 as I recall) and went out in the 1st round to Kit Leong in the metallic green Fox body, one of his customers.

Okay, enough of the new, now for the HAMB friendly stuff.... Saw Jeff Beck there :) never saw him make a p*** though :( and Melvin Baffery had his '55 Ford there, was still going rounds with Steve Davis (?) driving going rounds. Met a guy with a REALLY nice Hemi powered Dodge, red, parked with the Color Me Gone car. I'm hoping my '63 Fairlane ends up as clean looking as that car when (and if it ever gets) done.

Saw lots of cars I haven't seen before, and others I haven't seen in a long time. Been a long time since I've been to TVRP, couple years at least.

Sorry you missed this one Aaron, 1/4 mile concrete preped all the way and about 1/4 shutdown. Finish line was as tacky as Temple starting line. No complaints from no one. Tell Don Howdy. Get better man.
