57 Belair Glass ?

How do you get the gl*** out of a 57 two door sedan? We have it loose but not quite sure how to get it out. Does the track unbolt somewhere?

Are you doing the door gl*** or the qtr gl***? There are four little screws on the doorgl*** on the track that has to be un screwed. The vent window has to be removed also to get it out. Once the little screws are out and the vent is out of the way it should slip out the top. The rear gl*** will come out after you remove all the tracks and regulator. I am sure that there are other ways but thats how I do it. Tim

The vent window mechanism/gl*** does not have to come out to remove the door gl***...the gl*** just has to be removed from the track (the four screws), tilted correctly and it'll come out the top.

Chevrolet never made anything that hard...
