ok the car is a bit OT, but I know there are a few HAMBers in the Omaha area... so I figured I'd post it.. My car was stolen between 10:00 and 11:00pm Oct 31st, 2010 in Ft. Calhoun NE, the car was last seen by Ft. Calhoun Sheriff at Ft. Calhoun high school headed towards Omaha. The Car.. 1980 Oldsmobile Cutl*** Supreme White, White Vinyl Top, Burgandy Interior Lic #RHV 727 15" American Racing Outlaws (centerline look a likes) 76,000 miles This car is my pride and joy, it's what got me into cars and now it's gone... if you see anything please let me know.. Left turn i would guess you are into to local short track cars. Go look at some circle race shops as the metric frame for short track racing are getting harder to find not rotten. If it was a clean car it only takes 3 hours to skin it and grab the frame with 3 guys working. So get to it quick..........

you don't wanna know... the officer who filed my report saw my car before he got called to come out... said it was with a blue monte, headed towards omaha, looked su****ious but didn't pull 'em over.. I'm glad he was doin' his job. But Ft. Calhoun is a small town... so I guess that's what you get. and the good news is it only takes 3days for Ft. Calhoun to get a theft report to the Omaha PD's Auto Theft desk..

just an update.. got 2 calls from a flyer I posted at a BP Station on 30th and Martin.. The gas station attendant saw my car not 2 minutes after he hung the flyer, thief (p***enger) came in paid for gas, ($15), went out to pump noticed the flyer hanging in the window and took off with out finishing pumping.. The attendant called me and OPD.. Next one is interesting.. Friend of the p***enger in my car was rear ended by my car.. the driver took off after hitting him and the friend went after him in his truck until he felt it was unsafe to continue pursuit (they had my lights flipped off and were flying through stop signs/lights).. he was also at the gas station prior to being hit, went back got my # called and informed me of what had happened.. He filed a report with OPD and went to retrieve security camera footage from the gas station.. also gave me the bad news, aside from the hit n' run, the column is busted out, and the trunk lock (bye bye high dollar stereo), plus possibly a window.. He also gave me the theives parents adress, name, regular car, etc.. I payed a visit to his family (who do not speek very highly of him) and talked to them.. They are more than willing to cooperate.. So hopefuly this gets me closer to havin' my baby back in what ever shape she's in now...
I hope the car dosen`t end up in some one`s front room, like in Bellevue the other day. Sorry about your bad luck. You should become a cop, or a bounty hunter.
