I ordered SRM and Rod & Custom from www.deltamagazines.com about 6months ago and am still waiting for my first delivery. Found out that this company is "fly by night" and has ripped off lots of folks. What's an honest company to buy discount subscriptions from?
    Thanks.

My wife just got a bill for a magazine she didn't even order. I was able to go online and cancel it without giving them any more info than they already have (name, address etc) and she just received an issue even after canceling. Its a scam. I guess they got her info from the other mag she did subscribe to?

I just stick to ordering directly from the magazine, and avoid the discount places.

I've tried some of those deals and always ended up just going to the magazine directly.
Many paper publishers are so hungry for business they almost give the subscriptions away.

I usually just subscribe straight through the actual magazine that I want, most are cheap enough. My only gripe is that I am constantly sent renewals and never know when my subscription actually runs out.

I have found that if you look at the subscription cards that are contained in the magazine you can get a deal for both magazines for 12.00 for a year. Be careful though as they contain several subscription cards, you need to make sure to send in the right one. This is my 3rd year on that deal.

My buddy got ripped off by "Big Al's" in N.Y., They built a blower motor for him and the second time he took it out (On the street) the Harmonic Balancer blew off and they didn't want to Cover it.
