Hi All: I've been reading the HAMB for a while and it looks like a great bunch of very smart people. I'm live out a bit west from Chicago, and have been into hot rods since reading Ocee Ritch "How to Build a Hot Rod" in my junior high library. Along the way I fell in love with 1950's sports cars and specials, and I'm restoring/building a 1958 Chrysler based Devin sports racer. If you ignore the Devin body it's a traditional hot rod - 392 hemi, ford 9", chysler centerplane internals with Buick drums. etc. It's been a long-term project but I'm trying to finally get the car drivable this coming summer and will post some pics in the coming weeks as the weather outside gets too cold to do much garage time and I have time to write.
Welcome aboard the H.A.M.B. from Des Moines, Iowa! Hopefully we can see you at Torque Fest the end of April.
