Does anybody have any more information and or pictures of the black 59D truck that is in the article in hot rod mag. I would like to know what year the body is, how much chop, what frame, etc and any other pics would be kool.
If you do a search for Loudpedal's posts he posted a lot of pictures of the build on here. The truck belongs to Jobcorp on the HAMB Marcy
Your interest in my truck is mucho appreciated the cab is a 35' ford, the frame is 32' chevy, it has been chopped 7 5/8", the frame has been z'ed, I will gladly post some pics when I get home.....work and all....ya know jobcorp
I've been in that truck and i have to say the seats are to hard, the heater doesn't work and the owner smells like a twice used diaper. just kidding, i'd be on that truck faster than a fat chick on a twinkey
how much did you shorten your bed,,or how long is your bed now??? thanks, sam P.S. i like yours better than Rudys,,(even though his came first) but yours looks more refined like as if it was the same truck ,but improved on,rather than it being sold to some guy with money who spends more time POSING next to it or planning on the perfect placement of the latest WCC or jimmy shine sticker.. (this was a compliment, your truck RULES)
kind simply', the bed was shortened too much, I made a mistake and cut a little too far, to anwser the question, "about" 6'' in the rear and 10'' up front, for overall lenght I am not sure I will measure in the morning To be frank I never measured the original bed, the bed and most of the truck was pulled out of a salvage place that had written most of it off as garbage...the truck cab is actually five individual cabs, that by themselves were NOTHING but trash!!! No one can say I cut up a restorable rig...ha jobcorp
I dig the truck, Jobcorp, it's one of my favorites. You wouldn't have any shots of the chassis or interior, would you?
I have loved that truck since the 1st time i seen that. Hot Rod did some great pics of the Throttlers!
im tired of all this talk of rudys truck. ok maybe he did it first or whatever but i feel as if that takes away from this guys truck. i think your truck is definitely sweet. i think its just right and would look even better with a coat of shiney. i also would like to see more pics of the build like the interior and frame as well
its no big deal, but if you had been around this site for a couple years, then you'd know that some people here like to constantly compare any fenderless mid 30's & up truck to rudys. .i built a chevy truck that was nothing even close to rudys except that it had no fenders and had to hear shit about people saying i was copying rudys truck.. silly really,in a way i guess i can see what they where saying,,but damn,,no offense to rudy,,he builds bitchin stuff, but im sure rudy wasnt the first person to ever remove the fenders from a truck..just the first to do it and make it look bitchin.. anyways,,my first coment wasnt meant to be a comparison, but a complement.. every day at breaktime for the past week ive been drooling over the pics of the 59d truck in the latest HotRod mag...i love it. hey jobcore..not to ask to many questions,,but whats the wheelbase on your truck?? later, sam
Something I've been wondering: what's the finish on that truck? It looks painted, but not too glossy. I'm guessing that it's lacquer, but maybe flattened a little???? I missed my chance to see it first hand last summer at that hotrodarama deal in Olympia. Anyways- I think that thing's damn cool.
I´m not going to steal Sprout´s post or anything, but does anybody have pics and info about the throttlers Badass RPU. What i´m interested of is the interior and seat pics. I made a seat riser to my RPU that is channeled 4" and it´s too high. so i would be interested to see how it´s done in this totally low RPU. Thanks lot, Jaypee
