    Got this unit with a pile of other parts and was told it's a Cad Lasalle. Anyone know what it is and what year? Thanks

    Looks like a 38-39 with some custom tail shaft somebody made outa some other trans parts.--TV

    It looks nothing like the LaSalle I worked on. The LaSalle loaded from the bottom and the bearing retainer did not bolt on. I have no idea what that is.

    Packard 39-41ish with a floor shift. Dunno what the tail has been put on it though

    It looks to be either a packard with a custom tail shaft or a 40s buick? Send me your email and I can send you a pic of both I have 1 of each!
