I keep stuff saved on my laptop (transferring it all to an external hard drive), I email myself links and info to research, and I've got some stuff posted on my desk in my office to keep me from jumping out of the window. :D

I write everything down on my 10' long stainless 14ga toolbox top with Sharpie's and it wipes up easily with windex . I do alot of thinking right there listening to satellite radio O&A Howard and Bubba .

I've got a big 3 ring binder too, full of magazine pages.. Divided up into Truck/Hot Rod/Custom/Low Rider etc, and then divided by make. plus engine/interior/paint/wheels... it's cool to look at it.. (just don't judge me for the 80's Car Craft clippings of tubbed vegas, pintos, omnis, citations, and mustang II's... i want a blown big block powered **** box).. Plus I've got all my ****tastic sketches, and files on the computer.. The crown jewel is a drawing of my '60 F100 done by Cory Vaughn, "customcory"... it'll get built someday just the way it is in the drawing..

  7. It is really good stuff, I found the recipe at www.hotsaucedaily.com and tweaked it a bit:cool:

That is For LilT's head. The table usually sits in the back bay against the wall and that I Beam was in a bad spot:eek:

It did come from someone here but I forget who?

Thanks for some other really good ideas! I like the binder/sleeve Idea.

lol, glad we're both on the same track!... anyway, looks cool on there.. I thought the one I had was a little odd (just didn't look like all the other fog lights I had on the shelf) but seeing it attached to somethin' it looks good.

The insulation in my Shop is the silver backed foam type of insulation found on commercial roofs under the rubber..
I have all kinds of pictures, notes, things stuck into it
Holds spark plugs great, and all sorts of things you dont want to get lost in the mess.
So i guess my walls are my "Idea board"

  11. Thanks! I HAD to have a foglight. After driving my daily for so many years with really good driving lights I have a hard time w/o them. The fact that they have been used forever on hotrods is cool, it is purely function not fashion however.

I have an idea board, I call it a vision board. It has pics of the things I dream of... This includes cars, art, and galleries I hope to have my artwork in.... and a check written out to me for $150,000.00

If you believe it to be real, it will be yours.

There are several things on it that have become reality.

well, i'll have a lot more time in the studio and shop now (job goes away next week, so i am going back to school in january). so i imagine i'll be adding to my idea board more. i have been thinking about painting one of the walls in the shop with chalkboard paint too. good for keeping lists, and keeping me on task. i think i'll buy enough to do a wall in the studio upstairs too.

  14. Carla and my dad were talking about painting with chalkboard paint the other day. Seems LilT decided to color a Halloween picture on the freshly restored/painted closet door in his room! We may need to create a new canvas for him.

I live in an old schoolhouse and I have huge multi layered chalkboards and bulletin boards. I find them quite handy. Wayno

  16. When you do something bad do you make yourself write it on the board 500 times!?;)
