Projects cessnapilot36 31model a coupe build

Just a few pictures of my coupe build I purchased the body april 2009 and this is what I have so far. Plan to be on the road spring 2010. What do yall think?

I'll jump in and say that you've done some great work.

The only things I would do different in the firewall, steering column and shifter.
But the firewall looks to have been modified by th PO so that was unavoidable.

How much you paying your helper?

 

What kind of water pump is that?

 

Its called a water pump high riser from some rod shop catalog I dont know any part numbers I bought it used it takes an old chevy straight six pump.Puts your fan up where it should be.

 

Second Amendement My helper works for free he likes to watch the sparks fly and likes wearing the welding hood oh and he likes playing with the spray can color dont matter ??!!!....

 

IMO red and black have been over done. Your car do what you will but I think Copper or gold might look nice.

 

I agree with that I like the copper , gold look also.
