    I seen someone write earlier in the thread to use motor oil. I wouldn't recomend this because the new motor oils have detergents in them. As far as tips pallet, pallet, pallet, and pull lines straight and curves one after another and try to match a straight line as well as match line thickness this will give you a good foundation for improving your technique and your designs.
