Years ago I attended one Corvette show and noticed a lot of conversations about the correctness of the cars – numbers matching and all that. When someone pipes up about setting up a lot of show rules to exclude this type of car or that type of person, it worries me. Organizers of shows can make whatever rules they want – it’s their show, but sometimes a lot of rules supply ammunition to the uptight types, ammunition they can use to criticize car styles, dress styles, hair styles ... whatever. Best wishes to you Hell City Saints. I’m betting the Blessing of the Rods will be fun, and that’s the important part

Hello! I just found about this event and cant wait to DRIVE my truck up there from tucson. This sounds like some of the events i DROVE to in Florida when i lived there.Events like, Burnt rubber blowout, rumblers show in orlando, turkey rod run in daytona, billitproof drags in lakeland etc....Even built a 48 chevy truck on bags in 2 weeks to make to billitproof in jacksonville.Workin 24/7 just to make the DRIVE to a event. All my friends helping eachother out with whatever so we could be there to hang out in lawn chairs and drink beer on don garlits lawn!!!! Who cares about cuffs, special haircuts and orca betties? If you need details the location is on the flyer? On a side note.....Thanks for trying to make a change in this state.Ever since I moved here I have ben lookin for a event like this to DRIVE to from tucson. Cant wait to see what cars will be attending the show.I dont need any details ahead of time, im willing to take a risk and go out on a limb and DRIVE my truck to the show..........Cant wait to meet the saints and share some stories!

Thanks to everybody for the support and well wishes! Hope to see/meet you all there.

The fenced off parking for the show is going to be the stretch in front of Tim Finnegan's (west side) heading north towards Metro Center. We have 80 spots in that area. You'll be able to drink in that fenced in area while you check out the cars. There is an additional lot to the south we will use for overflow parking that's not fenced, so get there early.

Feel free to shoot us any other questions you got and again THANKS!

It was a great party. Place was packed, the bands were great, the cars were killer and of course there were cool people all over. The Saints threw a good one and if you did not go, you missed a good time.
