Glad to be back.....

I had lightning strike my brand new computer. Surge protectors are over rated. It fried my modem and also fried the network adapter. I've been in recovery mode for a couple months now. Glad to be back on the Hamb. I missed all you guys, believe it or not.....

After alot of genius computer people ****yzed my problems, it was a PCI ethernet card that cost a whopping $27.95

Being without internet is a thing that nobody should have to endure...

I feel like I've been under a rock.....

Chances are it came in on the phone line or cable line then. Surge protectors only protect what you have them on, namely the power line. They make them for the other stuff too.
