Im thinking about using a set of 67 mustang buckets in my 60 Falcon. Does anyone have any pics of their falcons with buckets so i can get an idea. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
just putting the mustang seats in will put you REALLY low to the floor; almost unsafe to operate the car IMHO. if it were me, i'd cut the mustang seat riser platforms from the donor car and weld them into the falcon pan. this will give you a few inches of rise, some more stiffness o the structure, and make the car safer to drive. i had a pair of fairlane buckets in mine for a while, and finally put a '79 ranchero split bench in. with my back trouble, getting off the floor is crucial! it sits nice and more or less fits the design of the car. seats from a Fox body mustang sit pretty well, but just don't look right....
Hi I put seats out of a 2008 Mustang in my 1964 Ranchero daily driver and they look like they belong there. I don't notice them being to low at all. Jan in Ojai, CA

they should drop right in. the early mustangs were straight off the falcon platform. and the 63 futura and sprint both had low back bucket options in the round body package. here's the original buckets from my old 63 sprint ht.
Those Honda seats are perfect for a Falcon. Good adjustments, very ,very comfortable, goob back support, etc. Cant beat them for the price. I bought them for $75.00. Time i got through with them, i have some where around, $500.00-$550.00 in em. This is the way i will go from here out when i do another interior. Thinking of doing a round body Ranchero Next. I have '65-type Mustang buckets in my '61, and it is like sitting on the floor. They do look good, though. -Dave
