Worse yet, I belive they are a material very similar to Pyrex! You know, that stuff they make those gl*** measuring cups from that withstand extreeme heat and such. I am sure jerry will chime in and let us all know.

    Good luck!

lookin good, i kinda lost track of the last post. do any one post any pix or information about sinking the quarter windows?

thats how ive seenit done when it comes to five windows. i supose if it came down to it even looking at info about sinking windsheilds would work. i cant imagine it being all that complicated.

...that being said good luck its looking sharp!

  7. CAN'T be cut-save yourself trouble -just cut the bottom from the corner windows openings metal out and make a support below there and mount the stock uncut curved gl***es in the smaller hole-mount the gasket around the top and sides and cut and glue the bottom of a SPLIT gasket with blak urethane to complete the look.

I know for a fact the wraparound windows are tempered.I am not sure what will happen if you try to sandblast them.I've cut laminated with a blaster and sugar sand and it works great ,but I have heard that tempered will explode if you try to blast it.I havent had the balls to try it.Good luck, keep a broom and dustpan handy...

How do you cut the windshield? I am chopping the top of my 1998 Dodge Dakota (I know it is not a cl***ic but it is the only Dakota known to be chopped) Also I have been told that you can cut tempered gl*** but I am not sure how. I think you grind it under water or something like that.Any help would be greatly apreciated

Yeah it sounds risky to me too thats why I havent tried it plus how do you grind under water anyway? I think it means you just use an air grinder and run water over the surface
