    Thats a good one! :D

HRP, you got it. I started the 62 in March with a full frame off and it's now going back together. All painted, ch***is done etc..so i've spent some solid time on it. The short break on it actually is like a little automotive vacation..
still working on something, just different.

Day 2......next is the lower rear corners of the quarters tomorrow, then floors, and finally, finish welding.
Just waiting on the sheet metal for the floors a buddy of mine is picking up for me.

so, here's progress as of tonight.

The panels came with one of the cars when i bought it. They are old but were still in boxes.
They fit pretty good but i did have to m***age things here and there, and they may need a little more when i get the floors started. Thats why i only tacked it all in place.
I have no clue who manufactured them, i'd have to see if there was anything written on the box.

Wait till you hear those guys that wouldn't pay the 15 for it say "I could have bought that for 15" when it's all done...lol
You are going to be all set for the winter with as much stuff as you have to work on too.

Glad you're building it and not selling her. It's gonna be worth way more than 15 when it's finished.
My "rough" 5 window was just apprised for $63,500. Can't wait to watch the build progress.

Glad to see your putting it together. Isn't it surprising how people think that something is too rough and doubt anything can be built out of it and the minute you rough it together they all want it? Keep posting the progress.

Looks like you gona be out of Momas hair for a few. My first one did not like that. But also didn't like it when I was around, 2nd, is all right with my building. Looks like you got most of the important stuff, and just need some garage time to have a runner. Do some thing every day, SOMETHING, and soon she running. Iceman

If i can make a roller out of it within the next couple weeks i'd be happy for now, then i can get back to finishing my Impala. Once that's done i'll get back to the 32.
You are right though, i spend just about all my time in the garage lately so no one see's me. i should put my bed in there! :D

Rear lower corners are close to finished. Need to shape the edge more and fab the radius and on to the floors.
    I'll start them this weekend.
I started working on this last Sunday, i should have a good chunk of the floors done by this Sunday :)
One weeks worth of work at night. this thing's been fun.

If you don't slow down it will be running in a couple of weeks and you will forget about the impala.

Naa, this is just a short break:)
I'll get back to the Impala as soon as this rolls.
I just seemed to have found the interest in this that i had a while ago and decided i better do something about it or it will either sit longer or eventually get sold for less than what i felt it was worth.
Now, when the 62 is done, i can move to this without having to deal with anything major.

Moose, it's too bad that guy didn't see my add. He could have had it and wouldn't have had to kill anyone! :D

Found my '30 Roadster body in 1962, sold it around 1975, got it back 25 years later, starting the build now. Gathering parts is part of the deal. Good luck with your project. :)

I got the mat all rolled up and ready for your car...come get it and start hacking! :)

    Thanks guys.
The floors are now formed and bolted to the frame. Next i need to fabricate the subrails and attach it all to the body. I decided to just build the floors myself over buying reproductions..with the frame being Z'd i'd have to cut up new ones anyway so it seemed like a wasted.
Should have a lot of that done by the weekend.
Also repaired the "coupe cracks" on the p*** side. Those are the cracks at the base of the roof where it meets the quarter. Seem's a lot of them crack there from lack of structure/moving without floors or bracing which this car has been without for years.

Hahaha...i hope so, but i'm hoping moving my 53 and the other 32 buy it.
Unless someone steps UP for this one when i'm done (which it seems all people want to do is talk) it'll probably just stay right here. I won't relist this one.

I will have the 550..just not as soon as i wanted..lol
