Glenn, thanks for taking the pics too.
Say Gleen, there's another Glenn in town wanting to build a 301 like yours, it's going in a '67 Camaro. The dude's a bit of a pain in the ass, but he's pretty good with tools and shit.

Say Farmer, can you post some pics of your car? I don't remember seeing it.

I missed you too brother. So the truth's out about Farmer.

For the last fucking time, before you bag on anyone's car, let's see yours first.

It doesn't matter how big of a blowhard you are, there's someone, somewhere who knows the truth about you.

    And it will come out.

Dude, is that the original Bill Carr "Aztec"? That thing is awsome! It's hard to believe it started life as a 55 chevy with only a fiew hundred miled on the odo. I wish I was there to see it in person.

Thanks for all the pictures Glenn. I had my camera and took several and only two of them came out worth a crap.
Nads, yes, please do this again next year. I'm beginning to look forward to next years show. I can not believe the difference in this years and last years show, I believe it was twice the size.
4t64RD, I was trying to get back home as soon as I could. If you had looked at my blower belt on one of those passes, you would have seen why. The belt had crawled up on the edge of the blower pulley and was riding there. This happened one time before and the belt broke. Same thing this time and without the blower turning, it is a gutless wonder, so I was trying to get home before it happened.

LOL! Barris takes credit for it because it was built in his shop but Bill Carr actually did all the work. Either way that thing is bitchin and it's great to see some vintage steel being preserved.

There's a good article on the Aztec in TRJ issue? I can't remember and I don't have them handy. Any way the guys who rebuilt the car deserve a fair amount of credit too. True they didn't design it but the car was just a carcass when they got a hold of it. More money than I'll ever be able to spend on a car, but amazing resoration nonetheless.
    Nice show too. -FFJ

Yea, that was a great article. I liked the part about what happened when Barry was towing the carcass back home. There is a top that fits between the windshield and the half top in the photos. Well, that part flew off the car onto the freeway. Barry and his wife ran onto the freeway between cars to retrieve the part! I was told because of the way they used to construct cars, that top weighed a ton.

Ha Ha Ha....LMAO! Hey...it looked plain (all grey primer)...I had an hour and fifteen minutes, a car show, one can of Krylon red (from my wheels), some tape, some newspaper and a spray booth appointment two weeks away...Voila, the mini scallops were born...I'm tellin ya it's the newest thing! Over a MILLION cars in Europe have mini scallops!!! (in my best info-mercial voice):) :) :)

Dad always said if your not fast...you'd better look fast! :)
