Made the trip over the border to VARGO DRAG RENIOUN. Despite the temperature of 28, darkness and tons of deer roaming the countryside it was great day. Ran into a handful of HAMBers who made the trek. Great ride thru the farm country have too trek back again.
It was a nice show!! My kids were taking pics (6yrs and 2yrs)..these were the only two that really turned out nice (don't tell them I said that though

I just got home from Vargo, and my feet haven't thawed out yet (knew I shoulda installed that heater!), and your pics are posted already! I think I'll throw my camera away...no need for it anymore 'cause we seem to attend the same shows. Sorry we haven't met yet! Great pics!
I've been listening to and watching the cars go past my place all day (I'm only about 3 miles away.....) but decided not to go because it was cold... and the last couple of years I went it seemed to be the same old stuff - but from the looks of the pictures there was some really neat stuff this year....like a Latham blower on a hemi.....that is rare!!!!! OK, I'm a wimp.....I shoulda gone......
Hey!! I'm almost famous!!! My car is pictured 3 or 4 times in that mix of photos (a maroon 40 ford coupe). The Vargo Dragway Jacket in the front seat is mine too!! The show was a success despite the behind the scenes politics. There sure were a lot of boy scouts!! I enjoy this show every year and will continue to attend as long as it's not snowing!!! Thanks for posting the pictures. Very nice of you!
Great pictures Al. Thanks to everyone who made this year's Reunion a great show. We greatly enjoyed it. There was certainly a lot of controversy. Attendance was good but not as high as the last couple years. I'm sure that the confusing posts on the internet had something to do with that. Once the word gets around, I'm sure that things will pick up again next year.
