    Dan am not sure of the name but i know it has a car on the can and says hot rod black or something like that ill get a pic and post soon

    well it been a min from me being on but i should be back for a while had the flu and it kick my **** big time ended up in the hos.

    well they let me out today about 3 or so yayyyy made my wife take me to my buddies house where the 52 is sleeping well so i thought lol
    we pull up and my cars in the street purrrrring in a new look wow i had a big grin on my face and wanted to drive it around but i can't due to meds :mad:
    his wife made me some really good chicken noddle soup while i was eating it my buddie but the lights and rear bumper on :D can wait til i can work on her hopfully soon i can do some thing on her lol
    he also tells me he got me a set of 14inch steely wheels but need white walls but free cool well am going to eat some more soup and try to sleep

    Sorry to hear you've been under the weather, I was wondering what happened to you!
    Glad to hear you are out of the hospital and on the mend. Sounds like you've got a good friend there and that you are both involved with the process. Having a hot rod 'family' close by can really help keep things focused.

    lol dan ,yeah iam kinda better have not done much yet. i did get a box in the mail last week a pound of metal flake !!! then i got a call yeasterday and i start work on monday yay so that will bring in a little cash to play with YAY :) we did try and go for a longer ride but it was not a joy ride like we where hoping for :(
    there is a lot of shaking when letting the cluch out in 1st it has been lowerd by the (po) and am not sure if we need to shim the ****** up a little or rebuild the cluch????

    Clutch 'chatter' as you described is when the clutch and flywheel don't like each other, (mating surfaces aren't flat). This is often the result when someone replaces the clutch but doesn't resurface the flywheel, (machine it perfectly flat).

    If the previous owner replaced the clutch, I'd be looking for a receipt for the matching machine work, or just give him a call.

    That's how it sounds from here!

    i send him a email see what he say but i dont think he ever changed much .
    when i do the sub frame i plan on putting the new 59 motor in but yet to fig out what i can do for a ****** as i plan on swaping the rear for hwy driving please go to my topic you might have some good ideas for me thanks dan you are the man lol
