not sure what this fits but it looks to be N.O,S. and this one I owned about 18 years ago , '53 newyorker w/ a Hemi. engine gone. should have pulled it kept it. I do still have the headlight trim ring
id love to have the fenders off the caddy and that 1/4 in the 1st pic looks kinda like a square back wagon VW ???
They are on the right track with the VW Wagon, but I think it is more likely the VW "Notchback" Type 3, there were the Squarebacks (Wagon) and Fastbacks (as the name implies) sold in the US, the Notchback was never officially imported to the US, but a lot of them came back with service men returning from Europe, and a lot migrated down from Canada, where they were sold.
great stuff- mentioned to a friend a while back that I was going to a swap meet-he boasted that he had no been to a swap meet or a junk yard in 15 years or so - just a catalog shopper -I try to avoid him now

Whoa,I was there yesterday also. I thought the first few pics looked familiar until I saw the pink caddy. Some neat stuff there, but didn't really find anything for the current project.
