just got a sweet deal on a new in the crate gm 350/290hp motor, would like the boards ideas on what intake and carb, and distributor. i was looking at the edlerbrock 2703 intake for the oil filler tube and dont know what carb to run. i want to run the old chevy scripts value covers but people have said i cant run those i have to hook up a pvc value, i dont want to cut holes in the value cover for a pvc. the thinking on that was the 2703 intake has the filler tube so wouldnt the motor breath though the cap then i wont have to have a pvc value? any ideas on this?
I don't like to tell new guys to do a search but there is so much info on PCV systems and good looking ways to do it, it just gets old to try and retype it every time a new guy joins up. You'll get tired of reading if you do a search.
