i agree....there's nothing wrong with a little mystery...besides, if it looks this good now, once it's finished, people will not be talkin' much...they'll be STUNNED!!

Keep your Lincoln! There's plenty of room around here for both of us! After they're finished we can have races to see who can go the the lowest and slowest withouth coming to a complete stop:rolleyes:

I don't know what it is about those cars, but I think it's one of the most beautiful designs ever. Strange since it's just a couple big rectangles.

Whoever said Sabado Gigante is genius. It makes no sense, but it's genius.

Actually, I don't know that it needs a name, but Poops McGee is one of my favorites.

That JFK limo is in the Henry Ford museum. I've seen t many times. I think they modified it a lot, bulletproofing and such and kept using it after the assassination. I never understood that. Why not retire it? Couldn't LBJ afford a new Lincoln?

They have the Abe Lincoln assassination chair too. I'm thinking old Henry Ford was fascinated with places presidents were sitting when they got shot. But at least they didn't keep using the chair. I mean that theatre had enough money to buy another one I guess.

Anyway, sorry for the departure. Cool car.

I have been considering doing it to both my cars. The guy that did my window tint also bullet proofs cars for people and what not. Said it's actually pretty easy.

I mean I don't know how some of the cars are done..bullet proof glass and what not but he uses a thick lexan and puts it over the window and on the inside of the door skin.

I guess it has the basic properties of bullet proof glass just not as thick. I mean it's not gonna stop an ak but whatever...I don't drive my cars in east oakland.

That is an awsome rendition of an angry bull that you sculpted from mud in that front door.

I've never understood people's desire to shave the door handles on 60's lincolns. Its one of their best characteristics. No matter what you do, its always going to be a 60s slabside lincoln. If you throw flatblack paint on it and wide whites, its going to be just another 60s 4 door rat rod scenester car. There are about 5 lincolns running around southbay that look like that. In my opinion no matter what you do, you can't make that car a traditional kustom.

The dash work and radio knob for the bags idea is interesting though. I dig it.

For now it's gonna be Blitz Black because it's cheap and easy and looks oh-so-soft! I got a few tips from a fellow HAMBer and Lincoln owner about some really neat stock colors from the early sixties so I'll probably find something dark and slick. First I want to finish the interior and get the car running for a while so I can get the motor running right again. It was sitting for a while before I bought it.

I remember when I drove it home it had a crack in the exhaust manifold. All I heard when I shut it off was my wife slamming the front door of my house. I guess my idea of rough and hers weren't close, haha. I called mine P.O.S.:)
