heyhey my 31 looks like A car again(progress pics)

    well here we go with some pics... been bustin my ass to try and get her on the road by summer time ... got most of the floor in ... welds need ground down . body mounts are in .... dash happened yesterday night .. when i was bored and had a perfectly good 59 ford dash that was just sitting there when i got in the mood for cutting and welding.. yah its a small block but it was free .. i made the firewall over a few days because of how far back the motor sits an original did not look good ...tail lights are out of a 61 vette and fit the curve on the back of the body perfectly ummmm other then that i cant think of anything else

    tell me what ya guys think its my first hot rod build

    [heres a few more of the before hand shots and after well sorta after i was still piecing it together in the last pic

    i chopped the car 6 inches... its channeled on a pitch goes from about 6 to 3 and a half inches makin the ass end stick up a lil more for that mean look

    More people should graft cool dash boards, it really makes the difference.

    hey thanks everyone on the topic of dashboards in these things i saw one at a somewhere that had a 61 chrysler dash in it and man did that spaceship lookin thing look good

    those tail loghts look sweet..can you get a close up of those? the look like the are recessed ? they look nice...

    I wanted to do something like that to my ranchero, or something like this..

    the vette tail lights are already recessed in a chrome bezel

    all i can tell ya about the yard that it is in north dakota haha
    theres about 1500 cars pm me and i will give ya some info after i ask the guy if he wants a bunch of sales

    i got the car complete and pretty damn solid shipped from nd to pittsburgh pa in 3 days for right around 3 grand

    ill take better pics of the tail lights when im at the shop tomorrow

    found one last pic for your viewing pleasure ahhhh just viewing if there was a hot babe spread on the gas tank then it would be viewing pleasure haha
