Glad to have you on board.Look and my photobucket for frame ideas. My shop truck and Burb is one of several I've done using a G-body Monte-Malibu.You can pick one up for a couple hundred and use everything from the column to the booster.The width is perfect and 4-coil ride cannot be beat.

 

Post some pics.Why not use a stock frame with the straight axle ?
That axle says "Hot Rod !!! LOL Tom (Tired Old Man)

 

That's what I did with my '51... Dropped axle, new springs, flipped rear axle, etc....
