    The early pix of it racing were taken at Cecil County Dragway which is in northeast MD near the PA line. Maybe some HAMBers from the PA, DE, NJ area might have some old pix of it they cud post.

  4. Just LOVE the 61 Pontiacs! I also have a white '61 Safari that I am rebuilding but, for use as a tow vehicle for my nostalgia AA/FD. They are great cars. Also working on a '61 Catalina bubbletop for a cruiser.

    Here are a some pics of mine from a few years back. It'll be back on the road soon with many more upgrades.

    Car was built as a 368hp Super Duty Stocker by Ron Sanders in PA and was very successful.

    The last time it was street driven was about Oct 1967.

    Anyone have contact info for Ron I'd like to catch up with him.
