I should say thanks to the people who rescued me twice when I screwed-up!

Suffice to say, that Hurst Slicks are not for long distance driving, since they don't balance until it's time to throw them away.

My damned distributor came loose from all the vibration, and that really was fun until I figured-out what was going on.

    Thanks hot rodders!

What does the distance have to do with the tire balancing?

How about a phone call "503-656-1572" and lets see what your problem is with the tire's

Here to help if you want it. Only get help if you ask for it........

Did you forget about running out of gas also? Some trips are an adventure!

I didn't see this message until now.

Cody, you may recall I was the one who called you last year and told you my tires wouldn't balance, because they had about a 1/2" run-out on them.

They look like those oval tires in cartoons sorta.

You advised me that that was normal, and exchanging them wouldn't help. You recommended that I not get them cut to true them up.

Your advice to me was to do a bunch of burnouts. I have them in the junk pile if you want me to send them to you?

It was an adventure all right! My gas tank makes a really neat oil-can sound as the last gulp is ****ed through the carb :)
