  3. Congrats! I'm going on about 5 years with my "build" -- small steps, bigger steps, small step again . . . lots of time and spreading the money side out as I go. You're going to feel like the cat's *** going down the strip - take some video shoots for us.

Time well spent.............you've managed a very clean build from the looks of the pictures. One thing about taking your time is there is little chance you will have to do anything over again as you sort out the new motor combination. Congrats, you done good.

Great story and a very cool ride. I love those early '40's Studes. Keep us posted on the maiden voyage.

  16. Forced to take maiden voyage around a 6 block area. As I live just outside of town those 6 blocks were gravel, with fenderwell headers pointing straight down.... My whole damn car is covered inside and out with a layer of gravel dust and dirt! I forgot how messy fenderwell headers and gravel roads are!My entire car is as filty as a dumptruck that has been working the quarries for 20 years.....but ya know what? I don't even care!!!haha it was waaaay cool, even with all the dirt swirlin in the air!!!! People were coming out of their houses to give me thumbs up as I rumbled by....Just wild..... Thanks to all who wish me well! They call me,Redline Racer...
