Here's a magazine pic of a bed I made out of a 40 something International pickup. The kid sleeps in the box {lengthened to fit an Xtra long mattress} and the cab is fully "functional". I shortened the steering column, shortened the glovebox, the Emergency brake works, and the shifter. The guages all read perfect and I turned the odometer to read the kid's birthday . I made the frame out of 2" tubing , used a f-100 fibreglass rear fender, and a VW front fender. I had to make the cab floor removeable "cause it all had to go in thru the window as it would not go thru the house. I finished it off by painting the kid's name on the door. I warned the kid's mother that when he's older he may "accidently " put his girlfriend's head thru the back window !!!

It was just some home painting and decorating magazine out last summer. A fenderless A tub would make a neat one too !

That is some really cool furniture! You guys should consider yourself lucky. If I tried to put an engine block table in our living room my wife would kick my ass! :D

That truck bed is the coolest. What was mom's reaction to the girlfriends head in the back window?

Here's a friends end table and clock. It's not a traditional looking motor but it's sorta cool. Yes the clock is a real skirt.
