That black ranch is very cool... Guys, thanks for all the comments. I'm really diggin' alot of these wagons...keep em comin!
Much love for the longroof(I have three) and moreso for the 2 door. It was my first car, purchased when I was 15 and still have it. A 57 150 Handyman wagon that came to me with delivery panels and braces already swapped. Here she is circa 1978,my senior year in HS.
My 57 150 Handyman. I have a 56 4dr Wagon with the stock 265 V8 for a parts car for the 57. The 265 runs good, I may transplant it. Should have plenty of power to pull that camper!
The "F-Bomb" ! (the F is for Ford!) Always been a GM guy, but the Ranch Wagon's are hecka' cool! Our first year with this one, in the warehouse now waiting on winter repairs.
Had a 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon and a 1956 Plymouth 2 door wagon many moons ago. Presently looking at a 1978 Pinto woody wagon
I am kinda into Pontiacs, never heard of this! My fave in this thread...also like the Nova conversion! At some point I want to build a '62 Pontiac Safari using series 2311 doors fit into a normal Safari wagon... A B and D pillars...no extra filler window behind the doors and in front of the fixed side gl***. Good thread, gang.
If you have to ask why 2 door wagons are cooler, you won't understand the answer. As a subset (2-door wagon CONVERSIONS), there was this thread, now closed: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=380606
Forgot to post my own 2 door wagon... Our '57 Safari brought back from a moldy, rotted, and rusting hulk:
I love this one 60 years from now it'll be featured in a thread similar to the 3W model A thread currently on here. Any finished pictures?
I dont fully get it? Aint this a real bad *** car? You better keep it and finish it, otherwise i have a feeling you gonna regret this dearly.
