    couldn't resist.

chop the top and a gold or green would look good.

metal/rock. We will be packed in with the tall top . No way we would fit if it was chopped. As cool as it would be.

Repainted more or less in the original colour and added Astros.

I'd want to book your band just to have that parked out in front of my place.

look at the doors on that car. it's a 1960 body with 62 stuff added. does it have a 60 dash?? front fenders are unique to Limo/hearse/ambulance as well... don't ever hit anything.

saw a Limo built that way when I had my 62 Sedan DeVille.

I'd like to see a few more wide white type approaches as well.

You're sure about the fenders?? i really thought they were the same as a reg car. The top and doors and such seem to be the same as the 59 as well. Look at the ecto1. It seems to me they took a stock front clip and quarters from a normal car and skinned them onto the "default" ambulance body for that era. but i could be wrong.

49 Ratfink is right man, everything rear of the fire wall is coach built, not Caddy, and the front fenders from a sedan will not fit as the rear sections that but up against the door are different.......I know this from painfull experience after some kids drove a u haul into the back of my 63 combo and pushed it into my pals car that was parked in front....front and rear disaster. Sick looking coach though man, after years of being in bands and having miserable band mates refusing to ride in a hearse if i got one i decided to get the hearse first this time round.

I've got a couple of photochop jobs i did when figuring out what to replace the 24" wheels with including steels and white walls and large diameter astros but i cant upload them from work, I'll load them up from home later. In my opinion hearses need a larger than traditional wheel diameter for them to look right. 15's look like roller skate wheels because of the extra length. I think Dodge ram spare wheels are a 20" steel and could could look rad with white walls....I could of course be corrected on that.

if its going to be hauling around your metal band then it should be a dark color. i say maroon.

is "the answer is never" making a comeback?

Since it's for a band, I think keeping it as a 4-door would be wiser. It'll be a lot easier to get amps and drums and stuff in and out that way.

Here's the couple of quickies I worked up around mine, it's a very similar coach so should give you an idea of how yours could look. THe white walls are a good idea because they visualy increase the size of the wheel and balance the proportions a little better. THe giant astro's are a little bit of a dream, someone makes them but they're big bucks, I'll probably go the 20" dodge steel wheel route......

I had a 62 M&M Landau Panoramic Hearse in the late 80's, my daily driver, and we hauled our band in that. It had the same rear quarter windows, black with factory black wrinkle paint roof and landau bars. Also used it for my Leaded glass business. If people didn't freak enough pulling up to the house, They did when i pulled the giant extension ladder out of the back, and the tools, and the benches, and the glass panels, and....
I had Factory Buick Mags that looked perfect on it !!!
