I just recieved a bunch of vintage Standard Motor Products replacement ignition parts and need to figure what this stuff fits. Is there a catalog or somthing that would have this stuff listed? Any bit of guidance would be great! Thanks, ******Knuckles
yes they are out there...some newer ones from the eighties still have the older stuff in them...there is an "illustrated" catolog that show spis as well... try evilbay....
i have an older catalog (from the 90's) for 1979 and older parts and i also have a illustrated parts guide from the 80's. you can pm me the numbers and i could check, also try rock auto (just enter the numbers).... standard keeps the numbers the same for a while.
when you say a bunch. 100pcs? 10,000 pcs? I have the books. But it does take time to i.d. because there is not a numerical list. I'll help ya..couple ways we can sort it out. first how many parts.. points, cond, voltage regs,switches..
hey,I forgot about the intranet.. just did some older standard #'s sls-27,ds-70,etc.. rock auto shows 'em..this computer aint so stoopid. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/raframecatalog.php
http://www.standardbrand.com/Online Catalogs-eCatalog/Content.aspx put the part number in the part number area tells you every thing you need to know...
Thanks but I believe the parts I have are much older and are unavailable from that site. ******Knuckles
When / if, you find out, post them up, Brother.....................I would be interested in some mid-late 50's Mopar ignition and electrical parts.........Just like you!!!!
