    That place is cool looking.

    I wouldn't worry about that old station getting knocked down anytime soon. It, like most old abandoned stations around here will be around for years to come..

    For one reason, and one reason alone...The old leaded gas tanks in the ground. Could be over a million dollars in clean up costs in that little gas station.

    I don't know about the million but they just did the old station across the street and it will be 500k by the time they get done pumping air in.

    I'm not normally prone to such violent reactions to a post- You appear to be a total JACK***! This is a *****in' old building and was an awesome post to let the rest of us higher educated Americans who appreciate our heritage see it in its resting state of grace. All this on Veterans Day which signifies the very ability to enjoy all things American Freedom stands for. Bigger picture, you have a very myopic view and an overimportant sense of your worth with no appreciation for History. In the sense of being open minded to the freedom we have you have stated your opinion, duly noted now go back to your Prius and Tofu.

    Thanks Poverty I used to stop at a few places like that when I lived in Texas and just enjoy being there.
