Hot Rods HAMB COVER CAR: Another Hoodlum Makes it ON A COVER! Legion Special

I've honestly never been too concerned with getting my cars in magazines, but when someone else puts their blood, sweat and tears into the car too, and it will benefit them, it becomes pretty important.

That was the case with May Cause Dangerous and getting on the cover of The Rodders Journal. I wanted it for Alex and crew. Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled too, but I was even more happy for them. Alex and his crew busted *** to create a work of art and they deserve to be recognized.

Then came the Legion Special. It started as more of a fun project for Matt Seret and I and turned into something more. I did my fair share of construction and fabrication on the car, but Matt was the master craftsman who really made it what it is, so again, getting magazine coverage made me stoked for him.

We drove down for the L.A. Roadster Show and stayed over to take TLS to Street Rodder's studio. I figured it would be featured and was excited about that. Then a few weeks ago I saw the early versions of the layout and was blown away. I thought they were kidding when I saw the cover mocked up. Then I saw the Table of Contents and the feature. Just....WOW!

So, needless to say I am super stoked for Matt. He deserves the attention and hopefully the business it will generate.

Thanks go to Brian Brennan and crew for choosing us and doing a great job with it.

Hey Kirk - Congrats to you and Matt. I first saw that car as a sedan in Redbeard's driveway years ago. Great to see what you two have done with it. Much luck to both you and Matt.
