I wonder if you could make that window out of lexan or similar material? I knew of a 55 Chevy that was chopped and it had a lexan windshield. It was bent around the sides, just like a stock windshield. Maybe make a pattern and some sort of buck for it to lay over and heat it?

I hace been sanding an old gl*** with 80 grit on a D.A. and it seems to be working so far. And a friend of mine owns a bunch ov pinball games and he swears that the gl*** tops are tempered and he gets them cut but it is expensive I will let you know what I find out

you should ask this on your own thread next time.but here goes for this one.everyone thinks thier way is the right way and for them it is.but if it was mine I wouldn't cut the windshield.leave it alone and cut the cowl at the bottom of where the gl*** sits.sink it down into the body of the cowl.you would need another dakota roof and pie cut it.wouldn't be able to pull the pillers in.the windshield would sit under the body of the cowl 3 or 4 inches or how ever much you chop out of the top.2 much to get it all down .start your own thread and send me the link to it I will try to help you out as well as other may feel the need sorry guys for jumping in there like that

Looks really good, Lotruck. I like the way you left the back window stock height to align with the shortened corner windows, as Chevy should have done. Very nice!

Thanks Rocky. I just dont like the look of the rear window when its made smaller. One benefit was that the cab and bed together look better overall. Before the bed always looked to low
