I thank you ever so kindly!

That roof line is the cat's meow.

Would it be OK if I were to PM you for some measurements at some point? Just maybe 3 or 4 of them.

    Thanks again!

How about some history on the car? Did you have him do the car for you,or was it done when you found it? When was it done?

I am just the lucky caretaker and proud driver and owner of the car. The care was done in 2000. I bought it from Lake Elsinore, Ca. as you see it. I have had the car for about three years now. We drive it all over the place from the coast of Miss. to Chicago and all in between. It is a blast to drive and I am proud to own such a beautiful piece as this. I was lucky to find it. We added the beltline trim back on this year, but other than that, it was left as it was when **** Dean chopped it.

Hey there fink! Good to see you on here. I met you a few weeks ago in Branson at the Sleds in Sept show. I'm the guy with the chopped green 51 Merc that bugged Kurt all weekend about the Alcorn Merc. ;)

Haha! I pretty much usually leave a show and think well, my car needs major work to get it close to what I'd like. Then, I get home and drive it to work, stop for gas or go to lunch and some one trips out and wants to take a picture. Then I tell myself, it ain't what I'd like it yet, but it's the only chopped merc in town. LOL

Count me in! Picked up my '62 comet a few weeks ago. Someone else already did the dirty work of stripping it out so now I'll be building a g***er. :D

Just finished the new paint job and finally getting around to putting up some new pictures. I hate this computer. I have to go to work in 3 hours and I just barely figured out how to post pictures.

Hey guys just wanted to get in on the fun proud owner of a 51 merc project car.
Its great checking out some of the pics you guys have posted and spinning some of my own ideas off of them. Ill post some pics in the spring when I put the nose and get the paint done on my car. Getting mighty chilly to be painting or outside working on the car in general

Welp, It looks like mine is for sale if anyone is interested. I just bought another car...it's a sickness, I know...
Has the original flat head in it still. We ran it off a gas can. The car still needs work. Needs wiring, usual rust in the floor, It has a nice chop...If anyone is interested I'm asking $15k If you don't want the flat head I will gladly keep it and I will adjust the price...
    (PM me please)
