Anyone know where I can find new or NOS motor and trans mounts for a 49 Merc? I can't seem to find them anywhere... Thanks much
Thanks for the leads! No parts distributors have NOS or repops available. Kanter wants $83 each to rebuild them (exchange only). Same goes for the trans mount (exchange only, same price). Did the google search, not much there...Kanter is for Fords only (different mount between Ford and Mercury). Dennis carpenter hadnothing either... I have been looking on eBay, and just today struck oil! Found a pair of NOS in the box for $50 shipped! Great deal. Thanks again for the help!

Rebuild your own...lots of fiberglass supply houses carry rubber resins that you can mix and pour yourself. Make a mold of your current mounts, burn off the old rubber, clean and prep, setup in the mold and then pour in the new rubber. Remember, even an NOS mount has been sitting for as long as 60 years!
If you are looking for the "doughnuts", Bolts & Metal plate for the front mounts and the Neoprene Block and strap for the rear mount there the same as early Fords look on page 30 in Dennis Carpenters 32 - 48 catalogue $ 15.00 complete Kit for each front & $25.00 for rear. 49 Merc is the same as those.
I believe the '49 Merc font mounts and water pumps were a one year only thing. They are not any thing like the old donuts. I found mine from guy in PA. but can't find his info. Look in Hemmings tht's where I fouind him. Jim
