Thank you for the filter... whoever sent it!

I got home from work today to find a package by my back door. I hadn't been expecting anything. The return address is quite hard to read but I can tell it came from Canada. When opened I was greated by a cool old aluminum Purolator fuel filter with AN fittings. :) I don't know who sent it but I have to say a HUGE thank you!!! I had been using a tiny slip in filter in a #6 connection on the digger. This will be a LOT better!

    Thanks whoever you are!!!

That's really cool! I'll bet you made a comment in a thread or to someone one time and they came across what you needed and hooked you up. I sometimes run across things at swaps or sales that I know others could benefit from. Makes a guy feel good to do little things like that for people!

Well, if wishing made it happen, I have a door hinge that needs a 34 Ford roadster attached...

About ten years ago that happened to me, too. It's a set of tailights from what appears to be an old truck or Jeep or something of that nature. I did my best to try to track down the sender, to no avail. Since our packages are car oriented, I can only surmise that someone had our addresses on file for something we either bought or sold in the past & sent to stuff to us instead of the guy who should've gotten it. Why don't we trade?
