  11. They sure do! Very cool looking diff, they are worm drive too believe it or not. I have one in my 1957 Peugeot 403. Apparently the LSD from a 505 wagon fits into the 404 housing with minimal mods too!

Even the later Peugeot diffs were very cool, they didn't have the mini quickchange look but certainly look better than the standard pumpkin.

A friend of mine got a trailer from a s**** metal yard that had some kind of RWD Citroen hubs and wheels on it, very cool looking, much flatter than your wheels.

I've always had a soft spot for French cars, good luck with your car, don't cut it up too much though!

    Very cool vehicle

    Thanks

    Hayden

There s Citroen in Razorbackland ?
They are strange cars . Really innovatives .
My favorite Citroen is the B14 Torpedo .
    I knew a B14 when I was young . 400 m away from my family home .
The owner didn t want to sell me . Yeah , I was 16 yo ...
At night , I ve often gone in the car , like a thief .
This car had a strange story .
During what we call Occupation , German Army in the french territory , some french ( this happened in other countries ) decided it was better for them to "collabarate " . Help the German Army , and **** the neighbor ....
Many " neighboors / finished their life in Dachau Google may help "arbeit macht frei " ... Not even Jewish .

So a neighboor decided it was good for him to denounce the Resistant french ... He went to prisoner camps , but survived .
Many died . My grand father spemt 6 years in Russia before coming back home .

When the WWW 2 was finished .... He bought a car for the guy . Just to be sure he would not tell .
    He accepted .
So he had a Citroen B14 and shutted his mouth .

His son had the car . Never wanted to sell me . Remember I was 16 , or maybe 14 when I first ask .. Who would sell a 1930 car to a kid ?

Just hope this is not off topic . Old cars in Europe are rare things . Most of them have a lot of history .
This was my personnal advice , and life :) Hope Tim will agree , what happened to London was also not too great .noups
This is just history . Oups .... HISTORY .

    This is a B14 Citroen , the same I knew :

Edit , sorry if my english is not perfect , I m french :p

When they started, Citroen was a kind of Ford of France. Kinda.

There is lots of stuff over here in Europre that will blow your mind. E-Bay Germnay/Europe is the main place to find old iron. There is a place in southern France that is the mecca of old cars. This guys collects, buys, sell, trades. One day, when I find a free weekend, I'd like drive there and just roam for a few hours. Cool, old rods that are not seen in the USA like the one that started this thread.

But this is Tim s place .
Maybe he will mix a 2002 BMW , a 504 Dangel Peugeot rear diff and a 305 TH.
    Sorry Tim , could n t not resist :p

  16. Sorry Nali, where is "Razorbackland"??

In the traction the trans is in backwards, in these the trans is in the regular position. it's definately oil not anti freeze

If it was the new C4 i wouldn't be getting excited and posting pics on here :D

I did a quick google but couldn't find images of the peugeot axle, i'll have a better look later when i have more time.

Don't worry i will not be cutting the body up at all, the only thing i have done is removed the front bumper which i think looks better. i'd like to think the engine will be good enough for me to use and not have to change, the more i tinker with it the more i like it as it is. it would be cool if i could hop it up a bit though in a period kind of way...
