I got some questions maybe someone can help me out, i want to drop my 1937 chevy truck i dont have the cash to buy a mustang 2 has anybody done a S10 clip im up for any ideas THANKS
prolly not near enough room to hide the ugly steering box behind the fenders, put disc's on the straight axle and mod springs to get it down lower
Don't do it, save your money and buy the mustang 2 when you can. Untill then buy a disk brake kit and take a couple of leafs out of the front spring pack. That's what I did to mine, check my albums for a picture.
I would swap the entire chassis before I cut good rails. The S-10 can sleeve in or out if you gring the welds along the mid rails. Just be sure and box it good after you adjust for wheel base. I would agree about removing some leafs or just get a dropped axle from Sid. Search the S-10 threads and Sids web site here on the HAMB. Gando
Here is my web site with all the axle specs. Don't have any pics of 37 Chevy's with dropped axles at this time in my photo album, www.droppedaxles.com
