do any Hambers work for limeworks? i did a search and i'm not sure if they are Hambers or not. i heard of a couple of guys one named Steve and the other named Kerry. i need to buy a couple of things and i've heard nothing but good things about them. i would like to support a Hamber too....thanks
I support them and I'm a HAMBer, does that count? I bet they check in here from time to time. They're just constantly in the shop though. Like 7 days a week... They are some of the coolist Hot Rodders you'd ever hope to meet. Steve the owner has alwayse gone out of his way to be cool to me even when I don't buy anything. I'd say buy from them.
I dont htink they are on here, I bet they lurk. I am a dealer for them. Top notch company, nice parts and quick service.
i'll check into to that the truck is coming along well. i finished installing a Painless wiring kit. got it to run and cleaned up the engine compartment. next thing is to lower it in the back.
I don't think you will hear anything bad about them, Steve does lurk on here but as mentioned before they are always busy. They will go out of their way to help! Which reminds me i must take 'em some more teabags when i'm out that way! Kev.
TMAN I see you are a parts dealer thats good to know. With all my projects I need a supplier on occasion. The local guy went belly up and took over 12G plus a Hemi from me on the books and I lost out big time. It is taking a long time to get back to buying again but I will remember when I get some coin together.
Thanks man, I dont really try and pimp parts here. (Kinda like moving your favorite bar into your house?Sounds ood at firts. I enjoy the HAMB as a way to relax, I dont need to work when I am on here as well!) That said, I do like to deal with HAMBers, helped a few out both here and across the pond. Our # is in the HAMBoDex. Also, I had to chime in on Limeworks, they really are great to deal with and have nice stuff.
They just put one of there 40 ford columns, 16" 40 ford wheels and a gennie floor shifter in my 32 roadster for a story in the march street rodder. Steve and the guys did a great job in short time.I dont like other people messin with my ride but i had no problem letting them tear into it. the parts are as good as they are I would recommend them and there parts to anyone. They went the extra mile to make sure I was happy.
Hi, My 31 Ford Coupe is at Limeworks right now, they are working on bringing it back to its early 50's glory. Steve and Kerry are 2 great people. They have a p***ion for traditional hot rodding that is second to none... check out on-line store... www.limeworksspeedshop.com Ken
Limey Steve posts here from time to time. I have one of their columns in my roadster. Very nice piece. Alliance members get a nice discount.
Purchased a steering column and wheel from them. Had a slight problem with the column and they corrected it right away, no problem at all. I'd definitely buy from them again!! Great folks to deal with! Very friendly. 3 of my buddies (mates?) drove their '32 highboys out to the LA Roadster Father's Day show and they made a stop at Limeworks, said they made them feel at home whlie visiting. And yes, they are an Alliance Vendor.
I didn't bother to look and see that they are an Alliance Vendor when I bought from them. Good service and a neat piece. AAA
I am also using their repop polished stainless '40 Ford column.......first cl*** product, and top shelf customer service.........I will not hesitate to buy from them again..... CB
Interesting how a 3 and a 1/2 year old post can come back the the top, and people just post away..... What's up Steve? Open house again in June?
Yes Tim we will do the Thursday open house before Father's day again next year. Thanks for all the nice words guys , WE ARE ALL HOT RODDERS here & hopefully it shows, were all in this together.
