Ok so I am building myself a 47 Chevy Fleetline sedan. I want to bag it. I also want to upgrade the brakes and steering to disc and power. I looked at the Fatman Fabrications site but they don't have a setup designed for my car. Does anyone know of a frame fab shop that offers such a setup for my car? I have seen a couple of this cars on bags, or at very least with mustang II front ends. Are they just getting kits for another vehicle and making them fit or what. Thanks for any help. Greg

measure your frame width at the cross member. thats the only major factor in usuing an aftermarket mustang II cross member.

hey dude i am n the middle of putting n a total bolt in and have been at this time very impressed with how well it has went n and nicely it fits. i have found the shocks with the bags on them ( there is litteraly a shock with two air bags ) seems to work the best at this time. i too wanted it to b able to raise and lower. i have hard lined it for the air lines. and i am building a valve control panel, i am doing this totaly manual valves. there is not going to b a compressor only a tank n the trunk, i can fill this via a schrader valve. i can isolate the whole system under the psgr side fender with a ball valve and between the bagshocks and the valve there is a schrader valve. so i have two schrader valves and only one tank. so if a emergency should arrise i can use a foot pump under the front fender to raise the car, and i can store it n a compartment under the rear seat. hey good luck and let me know how it goes..

AC compressors make decent air compressors for bag setups. you just have to run an in line oiler on the intake side of the pump to lubricate the pump internals. You can run a pressure switch to the clutch wire for automatic operation. Its a pretty cheap way to go if you're trying to save a few bucks and it works alot better than a foot pump.

That sounds like a cool setup, if you have a chance take some pics and send to me I would like to see how you got everything setup.
