Turned 50 today and even though I grewup during the muscle car era and do still own a few muscle cars, I have always liked the 30's and 40's cars and trucks. At this time I have a 33 Dodge Pickup,36 Chevy Pickup,40 Ford Pickup. How many of you own both muscle cars and the older cars and trucks.

Been there too. I am 51 my first restores were a 64 Impala SS and a 1967 Camaro I used to love 60's chevys especially anything with the SS package. I still regret selling them but Inheriting a couple bad *** 40 Fords from my father has eased the pain considerably.
happy birthday ! mine was on the 14th (52 years old) love the muscle cars , love the old hot rods , love them all. a regret i do have is selling the 69 dart to finance the 29 . guess it doesnt matter though , the wife hated cruising in the 69 (too loud - too rough - uncomfortable) now that the 29 is done (too loud - too rough - uncomfortable) guess i have to get the challenger out , she loves it !
Happy birthday ,finally at the top of the hill looking over,64 thru 67 were some good days with the muscle cars .
Happy 50th!!!!!!!!! I remember my 50th................... wait a minute, no I don't. Alzheimers aint that bad, you get to meet new people every single day
turned 50 last January. had a 69 GTO Judge and a 70 Z/28 at the same time before I was 20. had no idea they'd ever be worth what they are now or I'd have taken better care of them. sold the Z with a spun bearing for $1800.00 and my Judge with a smoking RAIII and just plain wore out for $900.00 in the early 80's. I actually saw my Judge at a swap meet a few years back for $12,000.00 all beat to **** worse than it was when I sold it.
Everything's finer in Caroliner! I hit 51 this August. I'm still 21 inside. Told my wife just the other day that I used to wear out the knees and elbows of my work clothes...now I wear out he seat of my pants! At my house we have a 1967 Dodge Dart that's gonna be a Super Stock look-a-like one day, a 1970 Dodge D100 pickup, a 1965 Mustang and a 1953 Chevy 4 door. I like'em in all shapes, sizes and years. Kinda like women!
I'm 56, so same era. I've never owned a muscle car. I've owned an MG, a Fiat and numerouse Porsches............... and a Legend Car. I grew up going to dirt tracks and watching 30's and 40's cars race and I had a subscription to Hot Rod when I was 12 years old. There's just something about the old cars that do it for me. After years of sports cars, I'm finally building a hot rod and I'm also going to have a mild custom '64 Catalina. I don't consider the Catalina a muscle car, as some do. That's about my cutoff for the year of cars I'd like to own. I guess I'm a little old school after all. Happy Birthday!
Welcome to the club. I'll be 56 a few days. I've been on both sides of the fence most of my car life. started with a 66 Mustang. Had a Boss 302 and 40 Ford Coupe with a hipo 289 both in 75' sold the Boss for 850.00 sniff and 40 for 1000.00 in 76. Have had various Mustangs up to a 66-GT 350H. A 55 f-100. Have a 40 Merc coupe and Mazdaspeed 3 right now so I'm a equal oppertunity car guy.
I went to the doctor this past Friday for a checkup the visit before this one my blood pressure was on the boarder line of me having to take medicine, I told doc let me work on getting it down so I started walking 3 miles everyday in 44 mintues or less I decided I need to step up to something with more work to it so I bought a bicycle and have started riding 10 miles every other day when the weather permits, this past Friday the blood pressure was down enough to where he said see you in one year so the exercise has helped. All blood work came just fine too, so at this point in my life I am not taking any medicine for anything.
