    Hey All,

I was hoping some of you would be able to steer me in the right direction. I'm looking for bumper, and bumper guard treatments. Specifically where folks have installed lights into the bumpers and guards.. Could you either post a pic, or tell me which cars have them and I'll do a search on Rik Hovings web pages to find it?..

    Thank You

I like that! I'd never seen the 80's Caddy lights used in a way I liked until I saw yours. Very clean.

Most of the ones I have seen are so damned small and so damned low on the car that the average idiot behind may not see them when you are in traffic. My lights are pretty low on the back of the 48 and if a normal size car is ten foot off my rear bumper the driver can't see the tail lights. That might be something to think about before doing it. Sometimes we are so cool that we are a hazard to our own health and well being.

  8. I think it looks cool too but I was too worried about getting rear-ended here in Chicago so I went with big obvious taillights.

I too was concerned about them being so low so I also put an 8 in LED third brake light between the trunk and rear window. Also, the three bulbs in the Cad taillights are each brighter than the one original chev bulb and I wired them so that all three are on for taillights and brake lights. Now that it's all done, I feel safer than I did with the originals. It lights up like a Christmas tree back there now.
