How To Pick Wide Whites

    i dont know what to pick too many options bias, raidal 21/2, 21/4, 23/4 ,3in what company and the right price i dont want to buy the cheapest tire and i dont want to look like im riding on white ballons its a slammed 67 ford wagon my original tires were g78/15 bias thin whites and now I am running 205/70/15 raidals thin whites for turning clearances any sugestions will help i would like to know what everyone else is running from what company and how much:eek:

    My opinion ...67 Fords should not have wide whites just because its the "in" thing. Its mixing styles. Wide whites were never put on anything in 67 unless it was a Custom that you seen in the magazines.
    In those days double whites or thin whites were the rage. I couldn't even afford that. I used blackwalls.
    I'd follow the same style used in the day if it were me.
    DiamondBack tires are hands down the best wide white on the market.
     
  3. I couldn't agree more. If you're trying for a custom look w/ the wagon, go w/ some Astros and skinny, skinny whites, or Cragar low count wires w/ the same.

    as far as correct i had supreme wheels on it and so did every one else all of a sudden but i have lancers on my car everthing is shaved black primer layed down bellflower tip skirts looks more like a lead slead so therefore i want to run wide whites

    I've dealt with Coker in the past. They've been great. I just got a set of tires from Diamondback though. You couldn't find anyone else as friendly and helpful as those guys. Haven't had the tires on the street yet but as far as my buddies that referred me to them, no problems. Check 'em out.

    And NO '67 anything looks like a lead sled, nor should it!
