I was wondering if anyone knows who owns this car? I am currently building a similar ride and have a couple of questions about it. Any help is appreciated.
No idea, but it sure carries itself well, and typifies what we are all trying for as far as "traditional" is concerned. Some will say that the mags don't comply with 'trad', but I ***ure you that as soon as 'mags' were out and available, we were bolting them onto everything...long before 1964. dj
I'm not knocking the car, but.... that's about as cookie cutter as they come. What kind of "questions" do you have? Rich
As cookie cutter as it may be, looks like they did a really nice job on it. There's always admiration for nice worksmanship.
If it is, then lets find it and burn the damn thing to the ground. It has no business being on the road. Someone might get the wrong idea. And as far as who built it, let's just kill him, so he can't do this terrible thing again.
Maybe he happens to like really nice cookies. You ever try and make a really nice, stand-up cookie without a good cookie cutter? It can't be done. 441 billon ginger bread windmills are proof of that.
maybe its your car because your taking every comment pretty seriously. cookie cutter to me is a car ive seen alot and wont even remember, and that one ive seen 1000 times, its like trying to remember the car that was behind you in traffic 6 days ago, very forgetable.....
I dunno, there is a rather special lady on the H.A.M.B. that by all accounts makes the greatest cookies and she don't use no cookie cutter!! I'm also pretty sure the owner owns it?? Doc.
nope, not mine. I'm not into 32's of any kind. Kinda cookie cutter to me. However, I do take umbrage at the constant barrage of "looks like gl***" or "it's been done a dozen times". If the "look" is the "RIGHT" look, then it's going to be done over and over again, thus resulting in the dreaded cookie cutter car. And as far as cookie cutters go, I'll refer you back to my windmill cookie reference.
No joke. The picking apart of others cars (when they didn't even ask for input) on the HAMB gets really old.
Yeah man!! How dare anyone have their own opinion on something much less voice it!! We should take all those people and put them in special camps. There should also be teams of Special Police that patrol the streets and if someone is doing something different, shoot them. We can have one true leader and we can call him the 'Fire'................. Though, even that sounds a little familiar? Doc. EDIT: Amazing what one can read put of a simple post huh?
I'm of the "school" that believes that "if you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all", therefore disregard this post entirely!
I say this abouy every other post.. Its funny because I usually dont care about opinions, but when it comes to cars, especially custom cars the beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so why critic what someone likes. I like blondes, but my friends friends like brunettes, are they wrong for that?..... Maybe because I married a brunette and now I'm separated.. hahah.. I also think that when you factor in the amount of time, and money it takes to build a car, when a person finally gets to drive it, leave him be, it's exactly what he wanted, ( you hope )
wtf ..everybody sitting around hammering a guys car because they don't like it ? Do you know what happens to people like that ? They get fibergl*** all over em. and besides , my ole lady makes ***-kickin sugar kookies. LEAVE IT ALONE.
Um... so many ******* in a bunch, but I don't see where anybody actually criticized the car or its owner...!?! Someone pointed out that it looks to be 'gl*** (it does) and someone pointed out that it's pretty basic (it is)... but nothing actually negative was said. Did I miss something?
I dont understand you guys bashing this car. Yeah its cookie cut, but thats because people found the right formula and stuck with it. Im not a fan of gl*** either, but i haven't stared at the picture long enough to decide. How many black chopped Mercs are out there that can be deamed "cookie cutter"?
