Host them on another site like Photobucket and then just link them to your post using the little postcard mountain icon on the tool bar of the message box.
click ON ...go advanced. Scroll down and click on MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. THE SCREEN SHOULD HAVE A BROWSE . CLICK AND FIND YOUR PIX.
S**** Metal..the way you did it is fine. If people want to see the larger version, they just click the picture.
The whole idea is to post them large so you dont have to click on them. Like the build threads that just have you scrolling down.
I have to stay away from some threads as all the huge pics take forever to load, and sometimes lock up the computer.. If you use photo bucket is there a way to keep them up? When you go to older threads the pics hosted by photo bucket don't show.
Can you explain to me how you did that!? Bad*** car by the way. I want to do JUST the big pics, with writing in between. Sorry, I'm retardede on the fkn computer.
I host all of my photos on Photobucket and have albums for each project. Sometimes I do use those photos on threads here and sometimes I post a link to the album so people can click on the link and open the album. My Mr48Chev photobucket album doesn't have any family photos on it so that isn't an issue. The only thing I don't like when using photobucket (or Flicker) for an album is that the last photo you post will be the first one that guys see when they open the album. That makes the chronological order of the photos backwards. The one issue with using a photo host is that if you delete the photo from the host a "photo not found" thingie pops up if someone opens the thread to look at the photo.
I use Fotki and mine come out large i guess. once you have a picture on the sight, you right click on your picture and copy the property.. type in your thread here is an example
Like I suggested, www.tinypic.com will allow you to post pretty big photos in a row as long as you want. The photos must first be saved in a folder on your computer. They don't have to be in a photobucket type site. Then you select the one you want to post when using the tiny pic site.
hey 19fordy , thanx for the infro . Going to try it . I have tryed photobucket & it really does **** .
I use tinypic also , it also gives you a size opyion, very simple. After you host the pic with tinypic , select the one looks like this highlight that and copy / paste here.
I can't do that with WEBTV.... It don't have a mouse... I can click on the smaller pictures and email them too myself.... From there, I send them to one of my folders.... I saved thousands of pics from this site.
