flathead rookie

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I can install a flathead in a 1931 Model A sports coupe without cutting the fire wall. I am going to be installing a TCI ch***is and utilizing full fenders. I also am thinking about using the original grille shell from the 31 as well. Thanks for your input.
