Event Coverage 11/20/2010 HoBo Hoedown, Douglas Ks

Bunch of us are driving up Saturday to attent the HoBo Hoedown in Douglas Kansas. My friend Ed Jennings helps put on the event and last year they had a great turnout. This weekends weather is supposed to be purrfect. Below is some contact info:

we are leaving my house around 10 heading over, last year was a gas!Literally BIG kettle of bake beans and cornbread Tootin good time

 

Update, the cornbread is bakin and the beans are awaiting. Ed and Jo are doing a hell of a job.
Wizard 23 is on the road from up north and I am checking which hotrod is feeling frisky for the trip.

 

I can leave now, I drove the Merc to work today. Just need to go pick up Renee...

Its nice to know that I have friends looking after me when I drink too much..

 

As far as that goes any of you "outta-towners" are more than welcome to stay here at the shack.

 

Jack, I live in Derby. Can I still stay at your shack? If everyone comes to town I would love to hang out. I'll be with Chris Carlson at his shop watching kids try to paint on Saturday.

It was a very kool show.... Ran up with Jeff Meyers Gang and had a blast. On the way
up, Travis and I saw the biggest deer that I've ever seen. It might have been a 12 to
15 point. ran accross the higway in front of us and stood in the ditch to watch us go
by.Travis took some pics but hadn't posted them yet.. speeking of Travis;

Just got a text from Jenifer Miller and they’re taken Travis (Two Tall Okie) to the
Ow***o hospital because of some heart issues….. His heart is in afib (its not being
correctly.) I don’t know what all that means or what is going on yet. All I know is
that he needs our prayer… I'll keep ya updated.

Built in Kansas City and now in Ponca City . It is for sale, $15,000. If I bough it, the side pipes
would have to go but the truck sure brought back kool memories… so if your interested let me know…

I love Jeff's Caddy. Enjoyed seeing that all the way to Dewey. How's Too Tall? Any one know?

 

We had a great time! Weather was awesum. Always fun to run with the El Dorrodders. Thanks to Ed and Jo for one of the few one dayers worth going to. Thanks to bscottstudio and yblock292 for the super hospitality. Was nice seeing all of our buddies from the southland. Get well 2tallokie!
