Did a search and found a couple of threads and it seems like most are running fenders... I know there are some fenderless/hoodless ones out there that need to be seen...I'd especially like to see 5 windows. What ya got???

My old 33, 3 window mocked up to set ride height...20 years ago. It's gone now.

How about Don Simpson's Purple car that was in the Halibrand ads?
I'll see if I can find pics.

It is, I've rode in and drove it. It feels like driving a go-cart with a blown hemi and a lenco!Surprisingly its pretty docile until you nail it.

I haven't seen one, but I think one built along the lines of 3W Larry's Deuce coupe would be killer. Especially if it packed a hot Stovebolt or Jimmy.

  9. I saw this one '34 Standard at Bonneville. It's covered in Tex Smith's How to Build Chevy Hotrods. It looks every bit as nice as a '34 Ford. I'd love to find a decent ch***is and body, or at least use a Superior fibergl*** coupe body.

Dug my '33 out of the dirt, here's a pic right after mock-up. Lot of guys like the '33 cowl for a fenderless and hoodless car, the sides are a little cleaner, but the 34's still look good in my opinion.

I would love to get my hands on a 33 -34-35 Chevy three window body. P***ed on a really rough one about a month ago. Attached is a pic from the HAMB, [sinister speed, I think:confused:] I love the bville style chop and what was done to the lower body, looks like maybe Ford patch panels.

Well it's not a 33. 34-35 yes. It has the long hood shelve/shelf to it which makes it 34-35.

Man I miss my 34 Master. Yeah I know not fenderless.

Thanks Kreepea, I wondered if that car was finished, thats pretty close to what I would like to do. Already got a pretty good start on the ch***is and running gear stuff, need some tin!

  25. black and white was around 63 (I think) drag version was 66. soon after, went back to street use. cut the top off and made a roadster out of it. went through many colors, and finally sold in Ca. last seen on I-5 with a chp writing him up.:)
while drag racing, I welded the rear solid to the frame. wasn't untill 1984, I bothered to put springs back under it. never ran front brakes on it.
welded rear and no front brakes made for some exciting driving.
About 5 years ago, someone told me they had seen it for sale in the san diego auto trader. sadly, I didn't follow up on that.
