th350 valve body rebuild

Can somebody me tell how to remove the little pins that hold the valves.
They wont come out.

 

A small roll pin punch won't work?

 

How do you punch, there is no little hole on the other side?
If i push on the valve the pin is free but don't come out.

 

That's right. Sorry. A magnet. Or, if they are roll pins a small screw.

 

or needlenose pliers.

 

They are just steel pins. Once you push in on the valve a little, turn the valve body over and bounce it a little. If the pin still doesn't come out a magnet should work.

 

In other words the pin does not have to be removed just push in on the cap and turn.
