in Katy Texas this week any junkyards near by?

I'm in Katy Texas this week, we here to see our new Grandson's

any old yards near by that have 50's cars

looking for a 53/54 Studebaker hood off a coupe or hardtop

Grew up in Katy...used to be a little junk yard on US 90 about 5 miles west of downtown Katy, but I don't see it on the satellite image. There was a decent yard North of Columbus, about 50 miles west...will have to look it up tho.

Edit: It's Daley salvage, about 3 miles off FM 109 north of Columbus. Might want to see if they're still open, they used to have a website up but I can't find it.

Also check out Machala's on Jurica Rd. off Hwy 36 north of Sealy. They had a few 50's cars last time I was there (about 3 years ago).

I always had luck poking around columbus tx, which is west of there off I-10..was a yard there but don't remember how to get to it, folks should be able to direct you.

 

my junk yard hunting days around Katy are over this trip
took my wife to the Hermann Katy ER they figured she has a pinched nerve

also were down a driver so i have to take my granddaughter to pre school
